Job Title: Certified Peer Support Specialist

Qualifications: Holds a certificate indicating the completion of the Division of MH/DD/SAS approved 40 hour Peer Support Specialist training curriculum. Has completed the additional 20 hours of training required and followed all state requirements.
Brief Description: The agency is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialists to be a fully integrated team member who provides individualized services in the community and promotes individual self-determination and decision-making. This position involves structured face-to-face scheduled therapeutic interventions with recipients to help them remain in the community. The Certified Peer Support Specialists is expected to provide consultation to the entire team to promote a culture in which each individual’s point of view and preferences are recognized, understood, respected and integrated into treatment, rehabilitation, and community self-help activities.
Other duties or responsibilities may include: Individual counseling and support, Group Counseling and support, Family counseling, training or support, Strategies for relapse prevention to include community and social support systems in treatment, Life Skills, Crisis contingency planning, Disease Management, and Treatment support activities that have been adapted or specifically designed for persons with physical disabilities or persons with co- occurring disorders of mental illness and substance abuse/ dependence or mental retardation/ developmental disability and substance abuse/ dependence. CPSS can expect to work 32-40 per week.

Job Title: CST Team Leader

The Team Leader provides direct clinical interventions with each recipient and will be responsible for ensuring that the team provides structured, face-to-face, scheduled therapeutic interventions to provide support and guidance in all areas of functioning in life domains: emotional, social, safety, housing, medical and health, educational, vocational, and legal. Job Title: ACTT Certified Substance Abuse Counselor
